Social Media Updates

May 17th, 2016

V/XVII/MMXVI

Apologies for lack of updates. There isn’t much new information to get up to date on.

CMTM 2016 is well on its way, and should be done in June or July. Maybe even May!

All that’s being done now is the actual building of the movie, which is putting everything in place, and making sure the timing is correct with the text and narration, etc.—it’s basically the final step, but I still want to edit some of the art style and design of some stuff.

It’ll all be worth the wait soon enough. ;)

Below is a small comparison of the currently released version and the new version.

Click them for a bigger view.

I hope you like what you see. Again, what is being released is an update. It has some new content but a lot of it is still similar to the older version.

Also, one more thing, and this has to do with YouTube comments. (What a lovely topic :) haha.) People have expressed concern regarding comments not showing during their discussions with people, etc. The issue is mostly/usually/almost always the fact that youtube comments aren't always from youtube; many times comments originate from Google Plus, which is now integrated into youtube. From a google plus account, you can easily block, filter, erase, or just prevent certain people from commenting on your what-seems-like youtube conversation. A lot of people get into these heated debates and discussions, and certain parts won't show, or they'll find they can't respond to that person anymore. That's probably why. Also, I noticed personally that the comments system has a new framework, wherein the "see all comments" function no longer exists, the new system doesn't archive old comments properly, and in general is somewhat simpler but more glitchy, having google plus more integrated in (I'm going off of the different datum strings that function as the comment and post ids for youtube and google plus).

I personally don't look at the comments very often, for obvious reasons. I honestly probably check some/many-but-not-all of them every 3-4 months or so. I still, however, DEEPLY appreciate the fact that people resonate with the movie, and am extremely grateful for all the folks who have had a positive experience with the information. I feel that kind of feedback and that kind of reflection of the impact of anything I do for others is a blessing.

And with all that being said, there is much more to come.

VIII/XXII/MMXV

Here is an update for social media and the YouTube channel:

Hello everyone. Here’s an update on the updated version of the movie:

One thing I have learned is that when creating something you are personally setting a release date or finalization date for, the best thing you can do is to allow it to finish whenever it finishes, rather than rushing or forcing something to complete in an impatient way.

People don’t see how long it took you to make the project, people only see the project.

At the end of the day, no one really cares how long it took to make something as much they do the quality of the thing that was made.

With that said, I’m not sure when the updated movie will be done. Right now, I’m mostly working on the movie’s audio, but the movie isn’t all I’m working on. So for those concerned, forget about a release date, it will come out whenever it comes out.

I’m thinking about making some more regular/shorter videos for the channel to go with the movie, so people know the channel is active and will continue to be releasing videos periodically after the movie comes out. I say this because all the CM videos on the channel now will be deleted, slightly updated, and re-released after the movie comes out.

One thing I noticed with the release of the current movie is that because there weren’t any other videos up (except for the timer video), people didn’t want to subscribe because they figured no other videos would be uploaded. This time around I want several videos uploaded alongside the movie so people know the channel is active.

Regarding the movie making process, the main thing taking so long is that even though it’s just an update, I’m basically rebuilding the entire movie, which is essentially creating a completely new movie that happens to look similar to the last.

Also, sometimes I like to take a break from working on it for a few days and look back on what I’ve made thus far with new eyes, to see if there is anything better I could add or if something needs to be corrected. It’s the same thing I did with the book. It’s easy to get hypnotized by something you’ve been working on for a long time and not notice its flaws.

I think this version may end up on TV (I’ve been contacted, but nothing is set in stone just yet), so I’m making sure it’s more clear, easy to understand, and truly something to be remembered.

All in all, everything is going great.

I just wanted to put that out there for people concerned about what the heck is taking so long.

It’s funny how long making a movie about time being an illusion seems to be taking. :)

Also, in case you are waiting on new content, if you didn’t already, get the book! The book has easily 5x the amount of info the movie does, and it’s not a regular boring book with no images. There are plenty of diagrams, most of which are not from the movie, and the book was written to be a “fun yet serious” read. This is of course talking about CM: Navigating the Matrix. CM: The Movie-Book is an extended rehash of the movie with extra content. The section about the mind's relationship to the brain, and to all matter itself, blows the information from the movie out the water—there's really nothing like it. The movie would be far too long to contain all the info of the book, which is one of the reasons it exists in the first place.

Anyways, here’s a screenshot from the movie (The final version's background won't be grey; it's grey in the pic because coloring the background is one of the last things done in making the movie.):

I’d add more, but I don’t want to spoil the surprise. :)

Take care,

Carlton

Here is an update for the YouTube channel:

THE MOVIE IS COMING ALONG GREAT!

The currently released movie is being updated, and everything is coming along just fine.

The reason everything has been taking so long is for various reasons, but it’s all turned out for the better. I haven’t just be working on the movie; there are other things surrounding the movie’s release that I have been applying time to.

Right now, voice-over work is being done, so the movie will probably be done in a month’s time, although no specific time is set in stone. The narration portion of the movie takes long because only one or two sections of the movie can be recorded in one day (15+ sections), plus, the audio then must be cleaned, mixed, and mastered, which takes about a day per section.

All the artwork has been somewhat updated but is still in the same art style, and much of the script has changed. There's also a tad of extra stuff in the update that you will have to check out for yourself. :) Here’s a little preview of a slide with no background color (I haven’t gotten to that part of the movie-making process yet):

The movie will be finished before you know it.

Enjoy summer,

Carlton.

Here is an update for the YouTube channel:

Hello. Small update here.

Videos will be uploaded every week or other week. Sometimes it takes longer than expected to make a video, for various reasons.

Also, as was stated in previous updates, the information that is consciousness mechanics is always changing, so if some of the newer videos seem to differ than the original movie, that explains it.

Enjoy Spring. More videos are on the way!

III/XVIII/MMXV

Here is an update for the YouTube channel:

Hello everyone. I hope you’re all enjoying the beginnings of spring!

There are many changes underway:

I’ve learned a new technique for making videos concerning the voice-overs, so I’m going to be releasing about 2 consciousness mechanics videos a week for a good while. Then I’m going to be updating the currently released movie, and re-releasing that.

The unnarrated videos are being scrapped. It’s been recognized they will just bulk up the channel with videos not as good an experience as the narrated ones, so they’re being removed.

As was stated before in the last update, the currently released movie needs to be updated, so some of the new videos taken from a section of the movie may seem to change what was proposed in the movie. Consciousness mechanics is something that is constantly evolving with new information. Videos, concepts, etc. will always be subject to change.

The reason the currently released movie isn’t being removed is because it’s not that bad, and all the updates are relatively minor. Plus, there are people who can and will still enjoy watching.

“Short” will continue to be a general term used for new videos that will probably be elaborated on in the next movie.

That's all for now. Things are really picking-up regarding content creation. I hope you enjoy what's provided.

Carlton

III/III/MMXV

Here is an update for the YouTube channel:

We have a big update here folks. Get your climbing gear out for this wall of text.

I'm introducing a new thing called "Shorts." The next consciousness mechanics movie will feature a new topic that will most likely permeate most of the subjects of the movie. With that said, I don't want to spoil the surprise, so most of the new consciousness mechanics videos featuring completely new topics will be short. So most, if not all, of the completely new videos will be somewhat short, in comparison to most of the other consciousness mechanics videos that will be being made.

I'm introducing unnarrated videos. The main thing making the videos take long to make is the audio; thus, it has been decided that I will feature unnarrated videos alongside the narrated ones. In the future, expect to see an unnarrated version of a video come out first, and then later on a narrated version will come out whenever it comes out. The narration of the videos takes way longer to finalize than any other aspect of the video creation process. You have no idea how mind-numbingly monotonous it is to have to hear your voice a million times a day for hours on end, just to remove little pops and cracks from the audio. Also, I do multiple takes sometimes, and must cut and paste certain syllables or phrases together to make them sound right. Long story short, the voice-overs aren't going anywhere, it's just that I'm adding unnarrated versions in the mix so people know I'm still making videos—which brings me to my next point:

It takes too long to create singles/small batches of videos. As I said in the last update, I'm planning on redoing basically all the sections from the movie and presenting an updated, upgraded version of them as stand-alone videos. It has occurred to me that the best thing to do is to just create all these videos all at once, which will include whatever completely new videos (the "shorts") I feel to make as well. Making all the videos at once may take awhile, but it will require a miraculously less amount of time than doing them in batches.

So here's what's happening:

  • I'm introducing "shorts." They are short CM videos that have new topics, and are short because I might want to go more in-depth on that subject in the next movie.
  • I'm introducing unnarrated videos. Narration takes a million years. For those who really like the videos, it would be nice to be able to check them out before the narrated version comes out. Plus, some people will enjoy hearing/reading the words in/with their own voice/mind while listening to the music.
  • I'm going to remake and somewhat remix basically each section from the movie into stand-alone videos (I say "basically each section" because I'm thinking about combining and removing some), plus I may be making some completely new ones.

It's going to take me awhile to remake and narrate sections from the movie along with completely new videos, so I will be putting out unnarrated videos in the meantime. The narrated versions aren't going anywhere; they just take so long to make that I feel like offering unnarrated videos would keep the youtube channel active.

Also, last but certainly not least, I'm redoing the movie. Not completely; I'm just going to be updating it a bit here and there. It will be called "Consciousness Mechanics: The Movie (2015)." There are some things I felt I didn't explain fully/well and I know didn't make sense to a lot of people, and some things about the movie in general I just want to remove and add. Most of the edits will probably be removals though. I just really want to drive home that the content of the movie is based upon physical, demonstrable evidence, and is not made-up make-believe designed solely to put a smile on one's face. It can put a smile on one's face, but that's not really its sole purpose. The whole purpose of the movie is to explain that which already exists, but to explain it in a way that makes mechanically logical sense. This just so happens to be smile-inducing for some people. :) The funny thing about reality is that when you deduce its components, you begin to realize that all this neutral, mechanical information generates an extremely positive effect in your life. So even though the information isn't designed to make you feel good, the information is still very empowering, which in turn FEELS REALLY GOOD. This is why I do what I do. I've realized that you don't have to embellish theories and definitions to make reality seem more extravagant than it already is—the neutral, self-demonstrating properties of reality are already naturally entertaining! At least for me anyway. :)

But yeah, that's all for now. As you can understand I have my plate full.

Oh, and before I forget, if you like the movie, get the book! The book is way better than the movie in my opinion because it has sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much more information. It kills me to see how so many people enjoy the movie, yet deprive themselves of the book. If you like the movie, get Navigating the Matrix! The two go hand in hand. The only reason I charge 15 dollars is because I do this for a living, and 15 dollars to me is an amazing deal for the wealth of information within it and the amount of work I put into making it. I feel like $15 isn't that large of a monetary commitment for information that could potentially change your life, especially for someone who actually cares and is passionate about these kinds of subjects. I understand some people don't care all that much, and I can respect that. So right now, I'm specifically talking to the people that are passionate about the nature of existence and that kind of thing: If you're on the fence, don't be; the amount of information in the book (coupled with many diagrams; it's not a boring tome with no pictures) will really amaze you. I get messages from people about other reality topics, some regarding life in general, and every question anyone has asked me thus far on these topics has been answered in Navigating the Matrix. I don't say get it because "I want your money." That type of greedy/money-hungry energy isn't conducive to doing the kind of work that I do. I say get it because I genuinely believe if you liked the movie you'll love the book. So don't feel like you have to wait for the next movie or video or what-have-you, because Navigating the Matrix has more information than I could ever put on a CM video. You can't compare a 1-2 hour narrated movie to a 243 paged book. Again, if you are truly passionate about these kinds of topics, you'll be astounded. There really is nothing like this book. But you don't have to take my word for it, see for yourself.

That's all for now. I think I've said enough. Everything in this post should suffice for those who were wondering what's going on with consciousness mechanics.

2015 is looking more and more gorgeous every passing day.

I/XXX/MMXV

Here is an update for the YouTube channel:

Hey everyone, Carlton here.

I just wanted to give a much-needed update about the new movie and other things.

I don’t know where the next movie is headed exactly, and I’m not going to pretend like I do. The reason I say this is because there are certain experiences I have to have and must fully comprehend before I feel confident enough to expound them in the manner I did the experiences of the first movie. That, plus I’m thinking about adding some newer graphics to the overall presentation, and aren’t sure how I want it to look, and how I want to go about making that look—I have some ideas though.

So overall, there are still some things I must learn, and some decisions to be made concerning the movie's overall look and sound. I’m not going to give an estimated date of release because it always fluctuates; one minute I think, “great, I’m all ready to go!” and the next I realize I’m not, and have some stuff to learn. So I’d rather not pretend to know the exact timing, and just let the event unfold in the best way it needs to, without attempting to force it to happen at a certain time. I used this approach with the last movie and I’m doing it with this one, too. When you’re creating a project, all rushing is good for is creating a rushed project.

In the meantime, I am now very much in the mood to release some new videos, albeit they mostly won’t be featured in the next movie (some might!). It’s been too long; I have to put something out.

So with that said, I’ve decided to remix and revamp some/most/all of the sections from the movie, and release them each as individual, stand-alone videos for the YouTube channel. This way you can watch the sections you liked most, and don’t have to navigate through a big movie. Plus, I’ll be adding new content to the videos. Some videos will have a lot of new content, some will have very little, but all of them will have something fresh, new, and different to offer that their section in the movie didn’t. Also, some videos will be very short, and some will be kind of “medium-longish”—none of these videos will be full blown movies or anything like that; they are just remixed, stand-alone consciousness mechanics videos derived from the individual sections of the movie. Also, if I spontaneously feel to make some totally new videos, I'll be doing that too, but my main focus is remixing the originals from the movie.

So that’s all that’s planned for now. Expect some new videos in the upcoming weeks, and if I have an update on the next movie I will be sure to post it here. It's looking to be a very eventful new year.

Take care and remember, YATU! (you are the universe)

VII/XIV/MMXIV

Here is an update for the YouTube channel:

Hello everyone. I just wanted to give a good update about the overall direction the channel is heading.

There are more videos to be released in the future. The new movie is not the end, it is just the beginning. New consciousness mechanics videos will probably come out a few months from now, depending on several factors. It could be sooner, it could be later; right now, several months from now seems most reasonable, seeing as though such a tremendous amount of work was put into the movie's release.

Also, regarding the book, Consciousness Mechanics: Navigating the Matrix is not a "regular ole book"; it has all sorts of diagrams not featured in the movie and is a fun read. I just thought I'd give a heads up for people who are on the fence about buying it, because I know how much people associate books with boredom. Navigating the Matrix was made to brake that stereotype.

Last but not least, regarding similar information from other sources: Everything in the movie originated from personal life experiences and realizations. There is no need to copy off others because I have my own internal sources of information. If you see similar info being paraded out and about, it is no different than two specialists who say the same thing. If two people are talking about the same subject, naturally they will seem to be saying the same thing from time to time. I say this because I market my material to certain groups who have already heard bits and pieces of what consciousness mechanics has to offer. If some of it sounds familiar, great! If some of it sounds brand new and you've never heard anything like it, great! Either way, the fact that more and more people are pondering the nature of their existence is great, in and of itself.

Oh yeah, last but definitely not least, THERE IS MORE INFORMATION COMING! This first movie is just a foundation, of which, new information will emerge. A proper base was needed so the next level of information can have something to stand on, and actually make sense.

Here is an update for the YouTube channel:

Hello everyone. It’s a new year, a new moment, and I have come to realize new information.

I’m not going to set a date for when the stuff I’ve been working on will be released, because I don’t know. I’ve realized it is impossible for me to know, because the information I realize and the application of that information is dynamic and spontaneous.

In one moment, I have a certain set of data I wish to express, and then I project into the future how long it will take to express it, by giving an estimation. The issue is that after I give the estimation to you guys, I will receive new data. The new data changes the previous estimation, because what I was presenting is no longer the same. The projects I’ve been working on aren’t the exact same projects, and are constantly changing with regard to the information involved.

All I know, for certain, is that the projects will be finished soon, and the wait will have been WELL WORTH IT.

All the time being put into the projects is simply allowing them to evolve.

Thank you for your patience.

XII/XXX/MMXIII

Here is an update for the YouTube channel:

Hey guys, I just wanted to thank all of you for your patience. I have been working diligently on getting the new material out. For this reason, I’ll leave you with a little explanation as to why there's a wait.

Some of you might be wondering why it takes so long for me to put the new material out, and the answer to that is simple. I’m taking my time because I do not want to go crazy. Everything I do includes large amounts of mental work, and when I work to explain reality, I literally have to detach from the normal, linear physical experience, and go somewhat “above it.” This above reality experience creates my normal perspective to be somewhat unreal, and from this state, I can easily see it for the illusion it is. What I then do is take my realizations and translate them into conventional scientific definitions, so people can see through the illusion that most consider reality. (I have some other useful techniques as well, but this is one I felt like mentioning.)

Also, the material I have up now is old. I only released what I have released so far because I felt comfortable doing so, because I know a lot of the info isn’t all that new for some people. I was making a foundational base, so that when I release more complex ideas you can understand what’s being expressed more easily.

So yes, I have new material, but I have been hesitant to release it because the videos were not up to par with the standard I wanted. That’s why the parallel reality and time experience videos were put up, to gauge if there was a large enough audience.

All in all, I just wanted to say the new stuff is coming soon, so expect an update or release in a week or two, but less than three. Enjoy the holiday season and take care.
